“As a former 7yr professional football player in the CFL, I've trained with various trainers. I can vouch that coach Whitlock is one that will prepare you to be game ready! Everything he incorporated translated to the field. Which you don’t see often with trainers. It was very essential to me that my training produce results and he didn't sell me short of that. I respect that he doesn't let you go through the motion but genuinely care to see you become a better athlete. He studies the game and it shows. I thank him for his knowledge and training. I would recommend any athlete ready to step their game up to work with him for sure!”

“My experience at the camp is nothing but greatness. Camp definitely made me a better all-around athlete, which has led me to most of my success. I liked that you're going to be challenged mentally and physically, and constantly see improvement in speed, technique, discipline and all the little things you didn’t know that contribute to you being the best athlete. Also, you’re learning from the best trainer.”

“The camp experience with Whitlock is amazing. The work outs are hard and no joke, but he does it because he knows you have it in you. Whitlock going to push you till you feel like you're on your last breath but it worth it. Your form and technique will improve a lot which is going help you run better and get those times faster. The bonds that you will build with other athletes is great, no drama, no arguing just having fun and encouraging one another that you can do it and get the workout done!”

“Over the summer last year I attended The Game Ready camp, the speed endurance sections of the camp. This camp helped me to stay in shape during the off-season for track and field. I had a great experience with the camp as it helped improve my running mechanics and running more efficiently which helps me as a long and triple jumper down the runaway. This camp helps you stay in shape over the summer and there are also drills and workouts geared to your sport or event!”

“The experience that I had going to Coach Whitlock’s camp was outstanding. I met a lot of great high school and college athletes. We pushed and motivated each other to make each other better. It benefited me very well and I can say that because I became a very versatile athlete in my sports and the knowledge that I left with at the end of camp helped me the upcoming season. This is a great camp to attend because you are guaranteed to get your money’s worth meet new people, become a family and become a better athlete.”

“Doing the training camp was a great experience. I met some new people and created bonds. The training itself, helped me increase my speed and preparation for the upcoming track season. I liked that I could still socialize with people and still get a good workout. Others should attend camp because the conditioning workouts will help you and get you stronger.”

“Game Ready is exactly what it sounds like. If you’re looking to gain an edge on your competition, this is where you earn it. My only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner.”

“Coach Whitlock bought a different breed of training to Rochester athletes. Training that other coaches were not able to bring to the table. Coach Whitlock helped me separate myself as an athlete and gain confidence in myself.”

“If you know Coach Whitlock from a football standpoint, you know that he’s a technician when it comes to teaching the WR position. A position he played throughout his entire football career. The Quarterback position on the other hand, I can’t believe his knowledge was quite as transparent as his knowledge for the WR position. When Coach Whit began Game Ready, despite his “lack of experience” of the position, Coach Whitlock helped me prepare each and every offseason of my high school career and collegiate career at the University at Albany. Mechanically, he aided in improving my throwing motion and efficiency when releasing the football, and also implemented game like drills preparing me for the fast pace of D1 FCS Football. I’ve never met a more dedicated and hard-working Coach than Whit. His ability to expand his understanding on the QB position while being able to TEACH mechanics and drill-oriented skills proves his willingness to make his athletes GAME READY. Love you Coach.”

“Coach Whitlock is a great person to workout with. He brings the best out of you every time you step on the field with him. He pushes you and makes you want to be perfect every time you're doing a drill. The camp benefited me a lot, the biggest thing is it got me ready for college ball and that is one of the end goals for a lot of kids.”

“Going to camp the last 4 years has been one of the best experiences I’ve had. The ability to both get better at football and build strong relationships among other players and coaches is a great experience that shouldn’t be taken for granted.”

“I met Whitlock at NLB when he was training receivers at 16. Before that I wasn’t as crafty as I am now at 19, sophomore in college at a JUCO. Whitlock go in debt in every drill and explains what each drill does. When you go home, you’ll realize the in-game scenario’s that the specific drill can be used. My personal experience, I got way better than other peers quicker and that proves that Whitlock’s isn’t just somebody who’s money hungry. What I love most is the push he gives me to be better, you mess up start over, knock over a cone. start over. Coach Whitlock is really big on perfection. He is also like a big brother to me. So, I don’t see why Game Ready training the answer isn’t.”

“This camp gave me the confidence I needed to perfect my craft of both sides of the football field. It also gave me a better understanding of what to expect during certain in game situations. I learned how beat press coverage as a WR, and I learn how to be more patient as a DB and overall improve my change of direction in both positions. The speed camp helped me run a lot faster which always translate to the football field.

“It’s a fun but also competitive environment because you get to better yourself and others around you. Being a part of the camp will give you an advantage in your upcoming season due to the game-like drills you will experience on the field so it becomes second nature (habit). I recommend working with coach Whitlock not only will he work on your weaknesses, but he also gives good advice whether it’s educational or life itself.”

“The training camp was a blast because of its environment of people that encourage you to get better and terrific coach who always see room to improve. I really liked how serious Coach Whitlock took the training and did not let us slack off even though days we really wanted to. Others should attend the camp because it’s a great place to stay in shape, work on your craft for any sport, and be coached by Whitty’s excellent coaching.”

“Few people understand why athletes do the training they do. Coach Whitlock and the people he works with are among those chosen few. His exercise science background means he not only know what he needs to do to get you as an athlete better, but why what he is doing works. Working with Coach Whitlock is the reason I got to the next level as an athlete. Elite training guaranteed.”

“Coaches and trainers are a major part of sports. Coach Whitlock is very goal-oriented, loyal, and respectful. He pushes his athletes to be the best they can be and past their boundaries, never leaving us short of what amazing athletes we can become. But most importantly he cares about his athletes as people and not just within their sport. Whitlock has become a very important figure in many of his athlete’s lives including mine. We trust in him and know we are able to confide in him not only for issues involving sports but our lives. Whitlock has gone out of his way to not only make us better athletes but better people. I have learned a lot from him not just on the field but as a person and I thank him for believing and truly caring for his athletes. He is the definition of an amazing coach and trainer and honestly invests his efforts into making athletes better.”
